These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rippd website and your purchase of any slot, product, or membership through Rippd ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
Rippd is operated by [LEGAL COMPANY NAME] Pty Ltd, an Australian registered company ("Rippd," "we," "us"). We sell access to live trading card "breaks" — sealed boxes or cases opened on camera, where buyers purchase a specific team, club, or player slot in advance.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase from Rippd. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age and to cancel and refund any order where we reasonably believe the buyer is under 18.
Rippd may not be available to residents of all states, territories, or countries due to local restrictions on this type of sale. It is your responsibility to confirm that purchasing from Rippd is lawful in your jurisdiction before placing an order.
Every break sold on Rippd is pick-your-team, pick-your-club, or pick-your-player — never a randomized assignment. Before any slot is sold:
When the break is streamed live, every card in the product that matches your slot's team, club, or player is allocated to you and shipped after the break concludes, in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy regarding timing and condition.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure all breaks are streamed without cuts and remain available to rewatch afterward, so you can verify what was pulled for your slot.
Collecting trading cards involves inherent uncertainty. By purchasing a slot, you acknowledge that:
Slot pricing reflects the published checklist odds at the time of sale, not a promise of a specific outcome.
All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor at the time of purchase. We do not store your full payment card details. Prices are listed in [CURRENCY] and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if a slot was listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error.
Rippd offers optional paid membership tiers providing discounts, early access, or account credit as described on our Membership page at the time of signup. Membership is billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
We aim to ship all cards within 48 hours of a break concluding, using tracked shipping. International orders may take longer to arrive and may be subject to import duties or taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility. See our Refund & Returns Policy for what happens if your order is delayed, damaged, or lost.
Rippd breaks are streamed live across one or more third-party platforms (e.g. Whatnot, YouTube, Instagram). We are not responsible for the policies, uptime, or moderation practices of those third-party platforms. We reserve the right to remove any user from our live chat or community spaces for abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour.
All trading cards broken on Rippd remain the property of their respective manufacturers and leagues; Rippd has no ownership claim over card designs, league logos, or club crests beyond the physical cards sold. The Rippd name, logo, and website content are owned by us and may not be reproduced without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rippd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or participation in a break, including losses related to the value of cards received. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@rippdcards.com.
This document is a draft prepared for legal review and is not yet a final, binding agreement. It should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer — particularly Sections 2 (Eligibility/jurisdiction), 3 (Break mechanics), and 10 (Liability) — before publication, given the regulatory uncertainty around card-breaking discussed elsewhere in this project.
